Diana Bowie Speaks at International Conference of Dining for Women

Diana Bowie was the guest speaker at the International Conference of Dining for Women, Knowledge is Power, in Washington DC May 4-5, 2018. The topic was The Delivery of Services at the Last Mile; Challenges and Opportunities. DB Peru received a $42,000 grant from Dining for Women in 2015 for their work on cervical cancer, The Amazon Community-Based Participation Cervical Cancer Screen and Treat Project.
As a continuation of this project, DB Peru is currently working with medical professionals, training them to perform treatment with cryotherapy with colposcopy.
