11th Annual Health Fair and Soccer Tournament

In the midst of fun and games, volunteers at the health fair fitted hundreds of reading glasses, provided screening for blood pressure and blood sugar, as well as taught back safety and dental care.

One of our more popular stations was for breast exams, performed by our nurses and doctors. More than hundred women had the exam and received a gift of a new or gently used bra.

Volunteers made up the gringo team which competed with teams from 16 villages.  The host village of Mangua won first place, with the prize being a new peque peque motor instead of a trophy.
